I thought it might be fun to take a little look back at some of my fave recipes I shared with you over this past year. Yes I am totally jumping on the “year in review” bandwagon, what are ya gonna do?
So without further ado – here are my top 13, fave recipes of 2013 –
1 – Brown Sugar Shortcake with Roasted Blueberries Whipped Vanilla Cream Cheese Frosting – Subtly sweet shortcake with succulent, plump, juicy roasted blueberries and the creamiest, dreamiest whipped vanilla cream cheese frosting to ever grace the earth.
2 – Blueberry and Dark Chocolate Energy Bites – These babies are very near and dear to my heart. They were the first energy bites I ever made, where the obsession began. They also had me featured in one of my all time fave health and fitness – Women’s Fitness Magazine ♥
3 – Panfried Spinach – This simple panfried spinach help nurse us through many a nightmare cold and flu this past year.
4 – Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Fudge Power Bites – Ummmm no explanation needed
5 – Beet Burgers – AKA The best Veggie Burger I ever tasted. Ever! – The meatiest, juiciest most flavoursome veggie burger I have ever tasted. Ever. Still to this very day!
6 – Healthy Wholewheat Peanut Butter Pancakes – Light, fluffy, peanut butter infused breakfast perfection.
7 – Cranberry, Raspberry and Lime Iced Tea – So pretty, so refreshing and all natural.
8 – {Paleo} Banana and Walnut Loaf – My first ever attempt at paleo baking . . . light, moist (←sorry) and so very delicious!
9 – Healthy Cookies and Cream Breakfast Smoothie – Finding a way to sneak cookies for breakfast, clearly breakfast winning!
10 – Simple, Classic Wholewheat Banana Bread – The little black dress that never goes out of style. This recipe gets made at least once a month in out house. Have you tried it yet?
11 – Clean Eating Chocolate Peanut Butter Fudge – Swirls get the girls! This clean eating chocolate peanut butter fudge has my heart in a big, BIG way. Hook, line and sinker
12 – Spinach and Feta Chicken Burgers – Succulent, juicy chicken burgers, perfectly seasoned and studded with ooey gooey pockets of melted feta. Dinner in a pinch, sorted!
13 – Maple Cinnamon Roasted Almonds – The prettiest little snack you ever did see. Dangerously addictive (or is it addicting?!)
So there you have it, my top 13 from 2013.
