↑ This is exactly how I feel the day after a massive training session . . . tell me I am not alone here?

What I’m eating –

Ok so just yesterday I came clean about my obsession with these delicious, clean eating (aka no junk or weird ingredients)  protein bars by the good people of Quest Nutrition.

Seriously love it when your mid morning snack doubles at not only your pre-workout power up by also a total treat meal. Love, love, love. Seriously can not get enough. My current fave flavours are –

Total calories for 1 bar   (approx using my fitness pal) – 160

Fat – 5g

Fiber – 17g

Total calories for 1 bar (approx using my fitness pal) – 160

I order mine from Iherb and if you want to order yourself a box or two and haven’t used Iherb before use this code –BUY123 – to get yourself $5-$10 off your order.

What I’m drinking –

This killer Peanut Butter and Banana Smoothie is all kinds of delicious, on my lifting days I just add a scoop of double chocolate protein powder to the mix and I have my post workout re-fuel sorted! Ice cold, extra thick, super creamy Double chocolate, Peanut butter banana goodness . . . makes the workout that little bit easier to get through know what I’m sayin’ 😉

Total calories for 1  large smoothie made by this recipe with PB2 – no protein powder added (approx using my fitness pal) – 189

Protein – 15.5g

Carbs – 31g

Fat – 1.7g

Fiber – 3.5

So in love with this Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Whey protein powder. It is seriously delicious and doesn’t have any adverse effects (think bloating, upset stomach and all that seriously unpleasant stuff) that many others seem to have. We order it through Mr Supplement, its by far the best deal we have found for it and I would say it’s worth every penny. If you are looking for a good quality protein powder without any weird ingredients that does the trick and tastes ah-mazing then I can not recommend this Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Whey highly enough.

Cookies and cream is my current flavour of choice. Seriously tastes like dessert. No chalky or weird aftertaste just pure goodness baby.

Total calories for 1 cookies and cream shake  (approx using my fitness pal) – 130

Protein – 24g

Carbs – 4g

Fat – 1.5g

Fiber – 0g

What I’m making –

When I’m not devouring a Quest or Raw revolution bar pre-workout I’m popping these Healthy Chocolate Hazelnut Bliss bites. A couple of these bad boys along with my trusty old sliced apple dipped in some PB2 = snack time winning!

Total calories per bite  (approx using my fitness pal) – 22

Protein – 0.5g

Carbs – 2.7g

Fat – 1.2g

Fiber – 0.5g

To satify my post dinner sweet tooth Im making these Cocoa Roasted Almonds. I also throw a few of these onto my breakfast, a giant bowl of Greek yoghurt with some of this healthy homemade muesli, a sprinkling of chia seeds along with a giant cup of coffee and I am good to go.

Total calories per Tablespoon  (approx using my fitness pal) – 59

Protein – 1.8g

Carbs – 1.1g

Fat – 4.4g

Fiber – 0.9g

What I’m wearing –

These Amy 3/4 tights from Lorna Jane

You guys, these tights! Seriously the most comfortable piece of clothing I own. Honestly I want to wear them anywhere and everywhere. All of the time. Every time I put them on I declare (out loud) how much I love them and that I just can not get over how comfortable they are. They are firm and supportive in all the right places without cutting or digging in at all. They also breathe really well.

The best! You need some!

What I’m doing –

And because I’m just a leetle bit crazy after that total body burn I have myself a little plank challenge

What I’m planning –

Monday – Weights – Total Body burn

Tuesday – 30 min walk and Yoga

Wednesday – Indoor rock climbing

Thursday – Rest day

Friday – Weights – Total Body burn

Saturday – 30 min walk and yoga/extended stretch

Sunday – Weights – Total Body burn

*For my Australian friends who are interested I have been ordering my PB2 , Quest and Raw Revolution Bars (among many other things) from Iherb.com they have great prices on all their products, shipping included. And can I just say have to be one of if not the most efficient company I have ever dealt with in all my years of ordering online. Order placed, picked, packed and received in my hot little hand in less than a week allllll the way from the other side of the world. Seriously in love with Iherb right now. And if you want to order and haven’t done so before use this code –BUY123 – to get yourself $5-$10 off your order.
