Quick and easy Asian style salmon bites coming in hot, hot, hot!
Because it’s been a minute since I shared any savory recipes with you I figured it was time.
Plus, I made these babies as a snacky type lunch (my fave kind) the other day and I am obsessed with them!
So simple, so flavorful, so, so addicting!
Or is it addictive?!
I never get that right!
Either way they are all kinds of delicious and I can not stop eating them.
Well, that’s not entirely true, I probably could if I really wanted to but I don’t. not even a little. bit!
So, if you’re looking for a crazy delicious, super simple way to spice up your daily eats then look no further my hungry friend, I have just what you need.
And even if you’re not actively looking, hear me when I say you need these delicious little morsels in your life, sooner rather than later.
Succulent, juicy, seriously flavorful, salmon bites infused with touch of Asian flare then finished with a deliciously nutty crisp and crunchy coating!
Oh that crisp and crunchy coating . . . gets me every single time!
Crispy on the outside, tender in the middle . . .
Soooo good!
Serve them simply as they are, with a dollop of mayo and a drizzle of sweet chili sauce is my absolute fave!
Seriously these babies are packed with so much flavor they really need nothing else!
Add them to your nourish bowl, make them into burgers, or Asian style tacos (oh you better believe that will be happening, and soon!) how ever you choose to do it you really can’t go wrong!

A delicious little flavor bomb!
Make them. Eat them. Love, love, love them.
Asian Style Salmon Bites
{Low Carb – Gluten Free – Grain Free – Keto – Paleo}Makes approx 12-14 blissfully delicious, seriously flavorful Asian style salmon bites.
Ingredients –
1 cup canned salmon, drained and firmly packed.
2 eggs
3 Tablespoons of coconut flour
1 teaspoon of garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon of onion powder
1 knob of freshly grated ginger (sub 1/4 teaspoon of ground ginger)
2 Tablespoons of coriander/cilantro, roughly chopped
1 small chili (with or without seeds) or a pinch of red pepper flakes – more or less to taste.
1 teaspoon of fish sauce
A squeeze of lime juice (approx 1/2 teaspoon)
Salt & Pepper to taste
For coating –
2 Tablespoons of sesame seeds
1 Tablespoon of hemp seeds
1 Tablespoon of sunflower seeds
1 Tablespoon of pepitas (pumpkin seeds)
Alternatively you could sub 1/3 cup of sesame seeds alone or your fave nuts/seeds
For serving;
Mixed greens
Avocado
Mayo
Method –
1 – Pre-heat oven to 175’C/350’F
2 – Line a baking sheet with baking/parchment paper and set aside.
3 – To make the Salmon Bites –
Place all salmon, eggs, coconut flour, fish sauce, spices & seasonings in to a small bowl and stir until well combined.
4 – All it to sit for a minute or two so the coconut flour can do it’s magical binding.
5 – Place all seeds for coating in to a small, shallow dish and stir to combine. Set aside.
5 – Take approximately 1 Tablespoon of salmon mixture and roll it into a ball.
Pro tip – use a small/mini cookie scoop if you have one if not, having slightly damp hands helps them roll more easily).
6 – Gently press each salmon bite in to your prepared seed mix, then place on to your prepared baking dish.
7 – Repeat until all mixture has been used.
8 – Bake for 8-10 minutes until the seeds are fragrant, lightly toasted and your salmon bites are cooked through.
9 – Devour (Allow to cool slightly first, those babies are hot, hot, hot!!!)
