So Ima keep this short and sweet for you today because –
1 – I feel like I have mini weight plates sitting on my sinuses and my head may explode any minute
2 – This is not really even a recipe . . .
Kinda like that time we made our own popcorn and I lost my mind over how easy it was, popcorn right there on your very own stove top?!
Yes I get excited over little things and todays “recipe” is another example of that.
Today sweet invisible internet friend of mine we are making our very own Strawberry milk.
3 ingredients, all natural, ice cold, light, fresh, creamy, dreamy, pretty in pink strawberry milk!
Why have I not thought to do this before? Especially with all of the smoothies that we make in this house?!
I gotta tell you I’m pretty proud of this little “discovery” but kinda embarrassed that it took so long to come to mind.
Did you know about this?
I guess I did I just hadn’t thought to try it until last week.
Little lady had just had her rest time, and when I say rest time I mean she spent an hour trashing her bedroom while playing dressing up and busting some serious dance moves to her fave disney CD!
Anyways, she had just had her rest and asked “Mama please may I have a special snack?”
A special snack hey . . .
“Well what would you like your special snack to be?”
“Hmmmm can I have some pretty pink milk?”
Sure, pretty pink milk sounds good to me but how was I going to make it?
Well, we had milk, we had strawberries, add a splash of vanilla and a handful of ice and voila’ pretty pink milk is served!
I honestly couldn’t believe how good it was. And neither could the little lady. She was mesmerised. Seriously, girlfriend sat staring, stirring, sipping and savouring her special snack for a good 30 mins!
This strawberry milk is thick, creamy, light and fresh and wouldn’t you know it actually tastes like strawberries!!
No weird ingredients, no chemical aftertaste and no post sugar crash. Something you can feel really good about serving to your friends and family and of course yourself.
Pretty pink strawberry milk that is all natural, quick and easy to prepare with a just 3 ingredients I bet you have on hand. It’s the perfect little treat for anytime of day.
