Can you even believe the holidays are done and dusted and a brand spankin’ new year has begun?

So tell me, how was your New Years Eve?

Did you make any New Years resolutions or set any goals for 2015?

Me?! Not really, I don’t really do the new years resolution thing, I never really have . . . is that weird?! Probably . . . anyways, as far as 2015 goes – I’m actually planning to slow down a bit, take time to stop, breathe and appreciate the little things in life.

My “baby” starts school next month (um what?!) so I just want to slow down enjoy life because it’s going by way to quickly!

Personal goals for 2015 –

I’d like to love my body a little better, and I mean that not in a stuck up, conceited or “love myself” kind of way. I love my body for all that it has done and all that it can do. It serves me so very well – I am happy, healthy and injury free but, I’d like to appreciate it a little more if that makes sense?

As far as training goes, I’m still working on building some more muscle – especially in my lower body so I’ll keep working away at that but, in general I’m kinda just planing to eat well, train hard and live in the moment.

So that being said . . . whose ready to move onto todays super awesome workout?

It’s hard, fast, short, sharp and is seriously effective!

It also happens to be all kinds of fun!

You know what makes it even better?! The fact that it requires nothing but your fine self and your winning attitude baby.

No fancy equipement, no gym membership just you – no excuses right?!

So, here’s what we are going to do . . .

6 x bodyweight exercises x 3 rounds followed by a well earned 60 seconds rest.

Complete 3 rounds of this bodyweight circuit or you could grab a timer and see how many rounds you can knock out in 20 mins – go on I double dare ya 😉 Either way you want to move through each exercise as quickly as you can with little to no rest in-between, of course listen to your body and rest as needed but, if possible, try to save your rest for the end of each round.

As always make sure you are nice an warm before you start ay workout – Run on the spot, do jumping jacks, jump rope, dance around your living room, anything to get you warm then it’s time to get serious.

Finish with a nice little cool down and stretch, maybe take a walk or something anything to help bring your heart rate down. Finish with a few of your fave stretches. Please don’t skip the stretch people, its like dessert for the body.
