Lift Weights Faster

Oh my word you guys what a week!!!!

Little lady has been home sick for 2 whole weeks now! Whatever this mutant cold/flu/virus is, it’s hit her hard!

We went back to the doctor today and finally we have some improvement! Just a few more days and we should have our girl back to her sassy, snot free self . . .

Can I just ask . . . doctors . . . why do they bother making appointment times? Every time we go we have to wait at least 30 mins . . . today it was an hour and 30 mins . . .

Ugh anyways enough of my complaining. Today I am going to let the amazing Jen Sinkler of (Thrive with Jen)  put you through your paces with another of her hard and fast lift weights faster challenges!

I love, love, love these workouts and this one in particular is extra awesome because its hard and fast and requires nothing but your fine self. No weights or fancy equipment just you and you winning attitude!

It was totally what I needed after the crazy week I have had. No better way to burn off some stress that to have yourself a hard and fast workout am I right?!

Lift Weights Faster Challenge

So, here’s what we are going to do . . . 5 simple, body weight exercises as fast as you can and then repeat the entire sequence through for a total of 3 set.

That’s it, simple right?

Except it’s totally brutal (in the best possible way)

Rest as you need

It’s you against you baby

You can do it!

Or you could always set a timer for say 10 mins and just knock out as many sets as possible . . . do what thou feel people just get in and get. it. done!

And because nothing makes a challenge more fun than getting a buddy to join you. Why not grab your BFF or a family member or your fave workmate and have yourselves a little healthy competition.

As always make sure you are nice an warm before you start ay workout – Run on the spot, do jumping jacks, jump rope, dance around your living room, anything to get you warm then it’s time to get serious.

Finish with a nice little cool down and stretch, maybe take a walk or something anything to help bring your heart rate down. Finish with a few of your fave stretches. Please don’t skip the stretch people, its like dessert for the body.

I managed to knock it out in –

and I had so much fun that I did it a second time just to see if I could manage to get it under that 3 minute mark and well, well, what do you know . . .
